The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health is a clinical center of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Named in honor of Jay Monahan – the late husband of Katie Couric, ABC News Contributor and Host of "Katie," premiering September 2012 – the Monahan Center opened its doors officially on March 30, 2004.
